The selection of the oral and poster presentations will be based on one-page abstracts. Each abstract should be submitted to the workshop secretariat online or by e-mail not later than January 27, 2006. Contributions should comply with the scope of the session. The abstract should be prepared using the "Abstract Template". The one page abstracts should be A4 format: Times New Roman font, 12 pt. size, 1.5 line spacing, 2.5 cm margins, text justified; the title: Bold, 14 pt. centered; names and affiliation of the authors: 12 pt. with underlined name of the presenting author containing the e-mail address of at least one of the authors.

Submitted abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Commitee of the workshop. Authors will be notified of acceptance and mode of presentation of their papers by February 28, 2006.

A book of abstracts and a scientific and social programme will be handed out to the participants upon registration at the workshop.

Selected papers presented at the SIZEMAT workshop will be published in a Special Section of the Journal of Materials Science. The acceptance of the papers will be based on the Journal's normal reviewing procedure. More information will be available soon.
